Upcoming Retreats:

About: Join us for our annual summer young adult retreat where we will be journeying through The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis! There will be time for prayer, sacraments, fellowship, discussion, and fun on the beach. This retreat is a great opportunity to meet new people and get plugged into the young adult community!

You are highly encouraged (but not required) to read the book and/or watch the movie before attending this retreat.  A pre-retreat movie showing will be held on June 26th from 6-8:30 PM in the Upper Room of the Parish Annex. Bring a snack!

Current Study: The Screwtape Letters by CS Lewis

The Screwtape Letters is a Christian Classic. CS Lewis understood how evil works in a profound way.  By reading this book, we hope to see how evil is working in our lives so that we may root it out and grow in holiness - making the world a better place.

Study: Pope Saint John Paul II's Letter to Woman

This is perhaps our most popular and foundational study for women first experiencing Endow. Answering many questions for modern Catholic woman this letter, written for the occasion of the 1995 Fourth United Nations Conference on Women, acquaints us with the thought of John Paul II and is a good introduction to the Christian concept of woman and her indispensable role in the Church, the family, society, and the world.

Monthly Events:

Next Theology on Tap: May 14th at 7PM

Young Adults 18-35

Theology on Tap is an event to meet other young adult Catholics in the Vancouver area, grab a beer (or a soda for those under 21), and listen to an engaging speaker talk about our Catholic faith. This is a regularly scheduled monthly event in the Vancouver area at Kiggins Theatre upstairs lounge on the 2nd Tuesday of every month (unless holiday's conflict), starting at 7:00 P.M.  If you have questions contact Nick at youthministry@stjohnvancouver.org.  See you there!

Supper with the Saints
