Sacramental Preparation

 

Baptism

Baptisms at Holy Redeemer usually take place within Mass one weekend per month.  If you are seeking the Sacrament of Baptism for your child or if you are seeking adult baptism through the RCIA process, please select the appropriate option below.

First Sacraments
(First Reconciliation and First Eucharist)

Preparation for your child to receive his/her First Sacraments is integrated with Elementary RE on Sunday mornings.  There are two half-day retreats to help prepare for receiving the sacraments.  Please note that children are expected to have two concurrent years of formation before receiving the sacraments.

Confirmation

Confirmation preparation for 7th through 12th grade students is intergrated into the faith formation programs for each age group. Meetings take place on Sunday evenings starting at 6pm, Sept through May. Confirmation is normally scheduled in May.

Marriage

If you are seeking the Sacrament of Marriage within the Catholic Church, contact Mark at markm@holyredeemervanc.org

We highly encourage couples to come see us before having set a date for the marriage, and at least six months before the desired date.
