 Middle School Book Study

5th-8th grade youth, join us for an online book study on Zoom, Friday mornings from 10-11am. Our first meeting will be May 22nd. We'll be reading Awakening by Claudia Cangilla McAdams, available to you for FREE on Formed.org. To access, simply visit Formed.org, tab down from the "books" and select "kids and teens" page to find it. You will need either a Kindle or ePub application on your device to access the eBook.

Take a Peek Inside Awakening! Fear drives me forward as I rush down a rocky path in Jerusalem, trying to sort things out even as dusk makes it harder to hurry. Am I really an American girl, cast back to the time of Jesus? Or a delusional Jewish teen, plagued with visions of a place called America, thousands of years in the future? I don't know anymore. But I do know that something awful is about to happen to my Jesus: they're going to arrest him tonight, and kill him. No one believes me; they think I'm crazy. So it's up to me to save him, hurrying down this dark path toward Gethsemane, toward the turning point of all history, the attempt to kill Jesus . . . toward the uncertainty of whether I can actually manage to change the future.

Q: When is the new date for Confirmation Mass?

A: Confirmation will be taking place throughout July and August in several Masses. Sign ups will be available soon for your family to choose a date. You may invite up to 8 members to sign up outside of your immediate family.

Operating from Troops that are chartered through churches in 48 states, the K-12 program centers on outdoor experiences that build a young man’s skills and allow him to grow on a personal level and as a role model and leader for his peers. Living the Trail Life is a journey established on timeless values derived from the Bible.
